Overview
These Terms of Service govern your use of DragonTrove, an iOS application for personal envelope budgeting. By downloading or using DragonTrove, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Use of the App
DragonTrove is a personal finance tool intended for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You are responsible for all data you enter into the app.
Purchases and In-App Purchases
DragonTrove is available as a one-time purchase on the Apple App Store. Additional cosmetic themes may be available as optional in-app purchases.
- All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's payment terms and refund policies.
- In-app purchases are tied to your Apple ID and are non-refundable except as required by Apple's policies or applicable law.
- Cosmetic purchases (themes) are for personal use within the app only and do not grant any intellectual property rights.
No Financial Advice
DragonTrove is a budgeting tool, not a financial advisor. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of any calculations or projections within the app.
Your Data
All budget data you enter is stored on your device and, if enabled, synced privately via your iCloud account. We do not have access to your data. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.
iCloud and Budget Sharing
DragonTrove supports budget sharing via Apple's iCloud and CloudKit frameworks. When you share a budget with another person, that person gains access to the shared budget's data. You are responsible for who you choose to share budgets with. We have no visibility into or control over shared budget data.
Disclaimer of Warranties
DragonTrove is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of data loss. iCloud sync is provided by Apple and is subject to Apple's own service availability.
We are not responsible for any loss of financial data due to device failure, accidental deletion, iCloud issues, or any other cause.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of DragonTrove, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or financial decisions made based on information within the app.
Intellectual Property
DragonTrove, including its name, logo, design, and all content within the app, is owned by its developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app without prior written permission.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Updates will be reflected in the app's App Store listing and on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
